Industrious Anarchy

Industrious Anarchy is an co-op structured independent producer of  locally sourced and produced yarn and textiles. Partnering with makers, small mills, and farmers, Industrious Anarchy strives to promote local production and thoughtful consumption of textiles. Events to date include a one-day symposium sponsored in part by the Illinois Humanities Council that brought together natural dyers, mill operators, and urban educational programs to interact with the public. Other actions include site-based classes on spinning, natural dyeing, and weaving. Check out the site and look at some of the incredible yarn and cloth available for purchase.
